Fishing permits to be able to be got online in Moldova

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/ - Amateurs of fishing will be able to get permits through an online platform, e-Pescuit (e-Fishing). The cabinet a today’s meeting approved the technical concept and the regulation on the system’s organization and work.
According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the goal of the concept, approved by the Environment Ministry, along with the Environment Agency, is to digitalize the process of submitting applications for public services. Thus, the new platform will provide more accessibility, transparency, efficiency and quickness in getting the permit, with the service being available on the week-end days as well.
The corruption risks and other possible human errors are reduced through the process of digitalization of getting the permit. Other advantages regard the cutting of costs, shortening of the time provided for getting the permissive act, as well as eliminating the bureaucracy, etc.
As many as 10,038 permits of amateur, sports and seizure fishing were issued in the first quarter of 2019 alone. Earlier, the procedure of getting the permit took more time and financial resources and the applicants had to go to the headquarters of the Environment Agency to submit the application.
