Twenty four tons of protection equipment provided by Vienna arrive in southern Moldova

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Austrian capital has donated to Moldova 24 tons of individual protection equipment, such as masks, surgical caps, overalls, screens, protection aprons and overalls. The donation’s overall value is of 440,000 euros.
According to the Health Ministry, the batch of humanitarian aid was delivered to the Taraclia District Hospital. Attending the ceremony of delivery were the state secretary at the Health Ministry, Ion Prisacaru, the adviser of Austria’s Embassy in Moldova, Gero Stuller, the deputy head of the Taraclia district, Lazari Dermenji, and the director of the Taraclia District Hospital, Artur Covaci.
The individual protection equipment will be distributed including to another 15 district hospitals and health centres from southern Moldova, namely the medical institutions from Basarabeasca, Cimislia, Cahul, Cantemir, Comrat, Ceadar-Lunga and Vulcanesti.
