As many as 431 new cases of COVID-29 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,795 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 431 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 8 out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 511,662 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

According to the Health Ministry (MS), 16 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (7 doctors, 9 medical assistants).

As many as 381 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 53 are in extremely serious condition and 7 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 1,557 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 3,685 are under supervision at home.

Another 542 people have been treated. As many as 496,781 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
