Chisinau, 24 March /MOLDPRES/ - Entrepreneurs and private people who committed insignificant infringements will not be sanctioned and only warnings will be issued against them. The parliament today approved a draft on amendment of the Fiscal Code in the second reading.
Thus, the law is meant to promote warnings instead of fines, in case of insignificant infringements and motivate the state’s institutions to focus on big fiscal evasion and large-scale money laundering.
The fiscal infringement is regarded as insignificant, if the sum in the case of non-observance of the way of declaring or in case of diminution of the taxes and duties by legal entities and private people, who practice certain activities, does not exceed 5,000 lei. Presently, this sum is 1,000 lei.
As for private people, the same infringements will be regarded as insignificant, if the concerned threshold will be up to 500 lei and not up to 100 lei, as it is at present.
