France provided Moldova with 17 electricity generators

Chisinau, 25 March /MOLDPRES/- French government through the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism has donated 17 electricity generators to the Republic of Moldova.
Health Minister Ala Nemerenco was present at the donation ceremony.
The official said that the generators worth over 487 thousand euros, will reach several medical institutions in the country.
"France has shown solidarity with Moldova since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. We received from the French partners medical and protective equipment, but also equipment for equipping laboratories. Now we have received two lots of aid - one with protective equipment, worth about 40 thousand euros and 17 generators worth 487 thousand euros. Also, specialists came to our country to install the equipment. Several generators will enjoy these generators, they being indispensable especially for the ATI departments ", the minister said.
The generators will increase the energy resilience of the medical institutions in the country.
