Two officers of Hâncești Patrol Service to be investigated

Chisinau, March 28 / MOLDPRES /- Anti-corruption prosecutors announced today that they have sent to court the criminal case of accusing two officers of the Hâncești Patrol Service, accused of passive corruption.

According to PA data, the two officers, in January this year, did not properly record the information obtained regarding the occurrence of a road accident in a locality from Hâncești district, resulting in damage to the fence of a resident of that locality, as well as leaving the accident site by the driver.

Subsequently, the two demanded 8,500 lei from the driver, motivating that the respective money is necessary for the repair of the fence, as well as for not registering and prosecuting certain people for the road accident committed.

The two patrol officers partially admitted their guilt in committing the incriminated deed.
