Over 14,000 patients called for ambulance last week

Chisinau, March 29 / MOLDPRES /- Over the past week, emergency medical teams have provided first aid to 14,395 people.
According to the National Center for Prehospital Emergency Medical Care / CNAMUP /, the medical teams intervened in 3,063 patients with cardiovascular diseases, of which 51 patients with acute coronary syndrome; followed by 2,542 people with respiratory emergencies and 2,013 people with neurological pathologies, including 225 patients with strokes.
During the week, an ambulance was called for 1,214 people with various injuries, including 47 patients who suffered as a result of road accidents on the country's roads. At the Emergency Service were registered 50 requests for poisoning, of which 18 with drugs and 16 with alcohol.
At the same time, during the mentioned period, the ambulance teams were requested for the provision of emergency medical assistance to 531 Ukrainian citizens refugees in the Republic of Moldova, including 285 children with various ailments.
