As many as 204 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,987 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 204 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 8 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 513,146 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

According to the Health Ministry (MS), 13 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (1 doctor, 7 medical assistants and 5 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 342 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 52 are in extremely serious condition and 9 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 1,447 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 2,534 are under supervision at home.

Another 341 people have been treated. As many as 498,738 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of 5 new deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and 11,428 people have died of COVID-19 in all.
