Over 5,800 foreigners applied for asylum in Moldova

Chisinau, March 30 / MOLDPRES /- The Office for Migration and Asylum received 5,858 asylum applications on 24 February -30 March.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the same period in our country on the Moldovan-Ukrainian segment of the border entered 352,240 Ukrainian citizens. About 255,835 left and 93,278 Ukrainian citizens remained.
In total, there are 97,125 foreign nationals on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, of which 48,020 are minors (Ukrainian and other nationals who have entered the MD-AU segment).
