Procedure of documentation of some categories of residents to be facilitated in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved the amendment of a draft law which easies the documentation of some categories of people, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, decision-makers will facilitate the procedure of supply with identity acts of minor children, citizens of Moldova, on whom no form of protection was established, whose parents or the only parent have/has been abroad for more than two months and have/has no possibility to return to Moldova for objective reasons. The identity act will be released through the submission of an application to the tutorial territorial authority, in the territorial area of which the minor child has his/her residence.
Also, decision-makers will facilitate the getting of identity acts of children, whose parents (or the only parent) are minors (is minor), respectively. In this case, the request for the release of the identity acts will be able to be submitted by the legal representative of the minor parents.
At the same time, decision-makers will regulate the possibility of the release of the identity acts based on the powers of representation issued within the MPower Register for certain categories of people. The register of powers of representation based on the electronic signature (MPower) gives citizens, business environment and public authorities possibility to provide powers of representation in a fully autonomous way and for free to people due to act on their behalf for getting a public service. Also, as a result of the amendments approved, decision-makers will extend the way of delivery of the identity act at the home of Moldova’s citizens, at the temporary residence or at the place of stay of the holder, through the MDelivery electronic service.
