Technical, professional attestation of specialists in constructions to be improved in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/ - The government has approved new regulations on the continuous professional training of employees in the constructions sector, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.   

The draft sees the improvement of the system of attestation of specialists and ensuring the transparency in their work. At the same time, decision-makers will make improvements in the classifications according to fields and activities, so that they comply with the Classified Lists of designing and construction works for all categories of constructions, urbanism, installations, technical and municipal networks, reconstructions and restorations.    

The document establishes the creation of specialized commissions for technical and professional attestation for each activity in constructions and the way of their work. The document also describes the fields of work and the procedure of technical and professional attestation:   

- construction site masters for specialized works and installations related to constructions;

- of technical employees competent with the specialized works and installations related to constructions, which include also activities of post-use of constructions and installations.    

At the same time, the draft includes new requirements for specialists in the part dealing with certain works, such as:  

- earthmoving works;;

- consolidation and compacting of lands;

- drainage works and namely the specialist who carry out the works should have a length of work/experience of activity of at least 3 years, including the last year of work in this sector.     

The implementation of the new regulations will contribute to the monitoring of the process of continuous professional training of employees in the constructions sector, to improving the quality of services provided and will allow keeping the record of certified specialists who work in the field.
