National Park Lower Dniester to be set up in Moldova

Chisinau, March 31 / MOLDPRES /- National Park Lower Dniester will be set up in Moldova. This will be the second national park after the Orhei National Park Public Institution.
According to the Parliament's decision, the park will be created to protect the terrestrial and aquatic geographical space with various landscapes and natural complexes, native plant species and animals of national and international importance, intended for scientific, recreational, economic, cultural, instructive and educational use.
It will have an area of 61883.99 ha and will be located within the administrative-territorial borders of several localities in the districts of Ștefan Vodă and Căușeni and will include four localities on the left bank of the Dniester.
