Single crisis management center to be reorganized

Chisinau, 31 March /MOLDPRES/- Single crisis management center will be reorganized and transferred to the platform of the General Inspectorate for Emergencies and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Government Secretary General Dumitru Udrea made the statement.

The center will be led by Colonel Adrian Efros, chief of staff in the General Staff of the National Army.

Udrea said that the center will continue to support the refugees and about 96 thousand Ukrainians who are in Moldova. He added that to date, more than 50,000 refugees have received assistance, and all placement centers in the country have been provided with the necessary products.

So far, Moldova has received several grants for managing the refugee crisis: from EU structures - in the form of assets worth more than 7 million euros, and from other partners about 300 lots. Donations of medicines and pharmaceuticals also came to the Ministry of Health.

Udrea noted that a report on activity of the Center will be made in the next period.
