Children's registration in first form of 2022-2023 school year starts in Moldova

Chisinau, 31 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Education and Research Ministry (MEC) has approved the Schedule of children’s registration in the first form of the 2022-2023 school year. Thus, starting from 1 April 2022, parents can submit the acts for the registration of children in the first form, which will traditionally be held in two stages.  

According to the ministry, the first stage will be organized during 1 April -13 June. On this period, the parents of the children who will turn seven till the beginning of the school year from the school district corresponding to the education institution will submit the application and acts necessary.

Following the first stage, the results of children’s registration in the first form will be posted on 13 June. Also, the number of free places left after the submission of the acts in the first stage will be presented on the website of the education institutions of the local specialty body in the education sector.  

The second stage will be organized on the period 14 June – 29 August. On this period, the children who will turn the age of 7 years till be beginning of the school year and failed to be registered in the first stage, will be registered and on the free places – children from other school districts.   

The final list of children registered in the first form will be publicly posted on 30 August 2022.
