As many as 315 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,264 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 315 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 7 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 513,757 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

According to the Health Ministry (MS), 11 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (3 doctors, 5 medical assistants and 3 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 333 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 53 are in extremely serious condition and 6 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 1,425 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 1,425 are under supervision at home.

Another 326 people have been treated. As many as 499,487 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of 4 new deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and 11,435 people have died of COVID-19 in all.
