About 3,000 Ukrainian refugees needed ambulance in March

Chisinau, April 1 / MOLDPRES /- The National Center for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance announced today that in March 2,949 Ukrainian citizens, of which 1,200 children called for ambulance.
The most frequently called ambulance patients with respiratory infections - 995 requests, followed by cardiovascular diseases - 319 requests and 196 surgical cases.
Among the ailments with which Ukrainian refugee citizens addressed the Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance Service are 188 traumatic emergencies; 153 infectious; 129 neurological and 128 gastrointestinal pathologies.
At the same time, during March, the AMU teams promptly intervened in the case of 78 requests due to obstetric-gynecological emergencies; 52 renal; 17 endocrinological; 17 intoxications of different genesis; six ophthalmological and three hematological.
Most requests to the Refugee Ambulance Service were registered in Chisinau - about 1400 patients; followed by 707 cases in the central area of the Republic of Moldova; almost 400 cases in the northern region of the country; 102 in the Southern region and 60 cases in Gagauzia.
