Moldovan MPs mark World Health Day

Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/ - The beginning of the today’s plenary meeting was dedicated to marking the World Health Day.
Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu offered thanks to the physicians for their dedication. ‘’We thank all physicians and medical employees who take care of our health, especially on this complicated period,’’ Grosu said.
In 1948, the participants in a global meeting dedicated to health and hosted by the World Health Organization, ruled to mark the World Health Day on 7 April. This day was marked for the first time in 1950.
