As many as 239 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,359 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 239 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Thus, 515,121 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

As many as 284 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 42 are in extremely serious condition and 7 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 1,161 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 1,693 are under supervision at home.

Another 279 people have been treated. As many as 501,392 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of 5 new deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and 11,460 people have died of COVID-19 in all.
