As many as 191 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,516 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 191 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Two out of all cases are import ones. Thus, 515,312 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 3 out of all cases are medical employees: two physicians and one auxiliary staff employee.

As many as 216 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 40 are in extremely serious condition and 7 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 1,148 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 1,702 are under supervision at home.

Another 262 people have been treated. As many as 501,654 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of one new death triggered by the new-type coronavirus and 11,461 people have died of COVID-19 in all.
