Moldovan foreign affairs minister has meeting with Dutch minister

Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has received Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands Liesje Schreinemacher. The officials referred to the regional developments and the security risks, in the context of the war in Ukraine and the social and economic impact on both countries, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

At the same time, the sides discussed in detail the management of the humanitarian crisis and the way the Netherlands might help Moldova consolidate its resilience.

„A priority of our bilateral dialogue will remain the cooperation, including the economic one, which brings concrete and direct benefits to the citizens,’’ Deputy PM Nicu Popescu added.
