6,215 foreigners applied for asylum in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 April /MOLDPRES/- On 24 February - 11 April the Office for Migration and Asylum took over 6,215 asylum applications.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 375,343 Ukrainian citizens entered Moldova, 276,913 Ukrainians left and 93,120 remained.
In total, there are 96,882 foreign citizens, including 48,421 minors (citizens of Ukraine and other nationalities who entered the MD-AU segment of the border).
