Over 2,500 drives fined for infringing traffic regulations in Moldova in last week-end

Chisinau, 11 April /MOLDPRES/ - Patrol officers in the last week-end carried out actions of detecting drivers who infringe the legislation. As many as 2,500 drivers were sanctioned following these actions.

According to the police, on the last days-off, law-enforcers fined 1,310 drivers who exceeded the speed limit. Over 600 drivers were fined for non-observance of road signs and failure to give priority in traffic. Ninety five drivers infringed the rules of stopping and 327 ones violated the registration rules and the ones of state registration of the technical revision.

On the same period, 57 drivers were detected and prevented from driving their transport means, for reasons of driving drunk and six ones refused to undergo the procedure of alcohol testing.
