Several localities in Dondușeni, Soroca, Ocnița to be provided with water from Dniester

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/- Elaboration of the pre-feasibility study started in northern Moldova in the context of the implementation of the project Water supply from the Dniester river for 33 localities from Dondușeni, Soroca, Ocnița districts, set up and submitted by the North Regional Development Agency (ADR).
A contract for the procurement of services in this regard was recently signed by ADR Nord, as the institution implementing the project, and the company which is the designated economic operator winner of the call for tenders.
The contract for the elaboration of the pre-feasibility study amounts to 313,188 lei. The company has undertaken to provide the requested service within a maximum of four months. Subsequently, after the elaboration of the pre-feasibility study, ADR Nord will launch the public tender for the procurement of technical documentation elaboration services for the localities involved in the project.
ADR Nord head Maria Prisacari claims that access to safe drinking water sources is one of the most important priorities in infrastructure at national level, as drinking water consumption is largely dependent on the health of citizens.
This year, from the sources of the National Fund for Regional and Local Development, ADR Nord implements five new regional development projects in the field of water supply and sanitation.
