Moldovan health ministry recorded 382 cases of COVID-19 among refugees

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/- The Health Ministry announced today that on 24 February -10 April, 382 COVID-19 cases among refugees have been registered.
Last week, 1,266 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded, down by over 300 than the previous week.
The number of pregnant women infected with COVID-19 also reduced, as 6 cases being registered. Children -137 were infected.
The daily average of hospitalized people, between April 4-10 this year, was 275 people, with over 15% less. Respectively, the bed fund for patients with COVID-19 decreased by about 30%, and the wards with beds for infected people remain in 15 public medical institutions.
Also in the last week, 5,361 people were vaccinated, less than 20%. At the same time, another 292,806 people went to the vaccination centers to administer the booster dose.
Thus, the national coverage with a dose, in the general population, constitutes about 32%, and with complete scheme - about 31%.
