Yellow Code of frost completed with strong wind warning in Moldova

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has completed the Yellow Code of frost, forecast for 12-13 April, with a warning of strong wind, valid for this time interval.

According to meteorologists, the north-western wind will have gustings of up to 15-20 metres/second on 13 April.

Also, SHS specialists say that frost of -2 Celsius degrees is expected at night and in the morning on 12-13 April.

The frost forecast will not significantly hit the day-time air temperatures. Thus, on 13 April, the air temperature will oscillate between +11 and +16 degrees. The air temperature is expected to be by 2-3 degrees lower in the northern region against the southern one. Precipitated is forecast in some regions, in the central and southern Moldova.
