Moldovan president meets foreign minister of Principality of Liechtenstein

Chisinau, April 13 / MOLDPRES /- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a meeting yesterday with Dominique Hasler, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sports of the Principality of Liechtenstein, who is on a working visit to Chisinau.

According to the presidential press service, the discussion addressed the security situation in the country and in the region, implicitly the humanitarian crisis generated by the war in Ukraine.

Maia Sandu and Dominique Hasler expressed hope for finding viable solutions for restoring peace in the region.

At the same time, Dominique Hasler appreciated the effort of our country in managing the refugee crisis.

Regarding the bilateral agenda, Maia Sandu and Dominique Hasler emphasized the importance of economic cooperation, as well as the continuation of projects in the field of vocational and technical education, which the Principality of Liechtenstein has been carrying out in our country for many years.
