Over 2,600 foreigners applied for asylum in Moldova

Chisinau, April 13 / MOLDPRES /- On 24 February -13 April the Office for Migration and Asylum received 6,277 asylum applications.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 379,638 Ukrainian citizens entered the territory of our country, 281,028 left and 92,993 Ukrainian citizens remained.
Currently, there are 96,748 foreign nationals on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, of which 48,505 are minors (Ukrainian and other nationals who have entered the MD-AU segment).
