Moldovan government provides grants for backing digital innovations

Chisinau, 13 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Economics Ministry, through the Organization for Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM), will provide grants to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which work in the digital innovations field.
The programme’s goal consists in the providing of non-refundable financing in grants to SMEs according to components of digital innovations, green technology and sustainable production in the following sectors: information and communications technology, digital media, fabrication, agriculture, education, health, financial services, creative industries, e-Trade, recycling.
The technological start-ups will benefit from non-refundable financing in grants at a level of 80 per cent of the costs dealing with the development and promotion of products and/or services, but not more than 500,000 lei.
The programme was worked out within the agreement on partnership with the project, Future Technologies, backed by the United States Agency for International Development and will be financed both from budgetary allocations and from external sources of development partners.
