ASD committed to solve road safet issue in Cojusna

Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/- Increasing road safety in Cojusna village, Straseni district was discussed at yesterday's meeting between representatives of the State Road Administration (ASD) and local public authorities and economic agents in the locality.

According to ASD, to minimize the road accidents, an important solution would be to ban turning left at the intersection on the R1 km 15 route, Cojușna locality. For their part, the economic agents requested a revision of this solution, as the changes would create inconveniences to the transport movement within the economic activities in the area.

ASD acting head Sergiu Bejan said that later, in the second part of the project, a roundabout will be executed which will increase the level of safety in the given area. "Until then, economic agents are asked to instruct employees and carriers to be careful in traffic, to wear reflective vests to minimize the risk of road accidents," he  said.

ASD noted it is open to provide support for settling the road safety issues faced by the local public administration on national routes.
