Moldovan sappers intervened in four demining missions in one day

Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/- Sappers intervened in four demining missions in one day. Explosive devices left in the ground during World War II were found during agricultural work.
Thus, the military intervened in Sângera, where an 82 mm caliber bomber was detected during spring works in the garden. The explosive object later arrived in the school yard in the town, being brought by a student to be exhibited in the Museum of the educational institution.
Another case took place in Falesti district, Bocsa village. An 82 mm caliber bomb was found there by the locals. A 76 mm caliber artillery projectile was found at Șendreni, Nisporeni, and another 152 mm caliber projectile was found at Semeni, Ungheni.
Demining missions were carried out by teams of engineers from the "Codru" Genius Battalion and the "Moldova" Motorized Infantry Brigade.
