Mihai Eminescu National Theatre of Moldova to present first performance of play

Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/ - The first performance of the play, Frunze de dor (Longing Leaves), according to the homonymous novel by Ion Druta, stage management of Alexandru Cozub, will take place at the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre on 16 and 17 April at 18:00.    

”I wanted very much to stage this novel. It was not at all easy. We had to persuade the author to accept the stage version proposed by us and then to transpose this prose in stage language. We did this with respect for the author and the audience. I think that we eventually managed to achieve the goal set,’’ Alexandru Cozub said.
