Moldovan fine artist says makes book graphic, illustrates magazines for children

Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/ - Fine artist Violeta Diordiev for a long time has been busy with book graphic and has been illustrating two magazines for children. Thus, so far, she has managed to illustrate over 100 books from the national and universal literature.

Violeta Diordiev was born in Chisinau on 30 April 1966. She studied at the A. Sciusev fine arts school for children in 1977-1981, the A. Plamadeala Republican Fine Arts College (1981-1985) and the Music, Theatre and Fine Arts Academy (1985-1991). Stating from 1991, Diordiev has been member of the Moldovan Fine Artists’ Union. As of 2003 till present, she has worked as lecturer at the aforementioned Academy. Violeta Diordiev participated in diverse exhibitions in Moldova and abroad.
