Moldovan deputy premier had phone conversation with Luxembourg foreign minister

Chisinau, April 15 / MOLDPRES /- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration held a telephone conversation with Jean Asselborn, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The officials had an exchange of views on the regional situation and the impact of the war in Ukraine on our country, the management of the humanitarian crisis as well as the ways to support refugees, the MAEIE press service has reported.

"I provided my Luxembourg counterpart with more details on the process of completing the European Commission's Questionnaire on Moldova's application for EU membership," he said.

At the same time, Popescu thanked for the reconfirmation of the full support of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for the path and European aspirations of our country.
