Moldovan president visits two localities in Basarabeasca district

Chisinau, April 15 / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu met yesterday with inhabitants of Sadaclia and Abaclia villages in Basarabeasca district, the MAEIE press service has reported.

The head of state talked to the people about security concerns, about economic and social issues, about how they see the government's efforts and future plans. "In both localities, projects are being carried out to improve the quality of public services, but we still have a lot to do," she said.

At Sadaclia, the president visited the village Museum, as well as the Bombonici Garment Factory, where Silvia Lazu and her team created one of the most popular brands of children's clothing in Moldova, which provides jobs for 150 people.

At Abaclia, the president met a group of cheerful children who told him they liked school but were looking forward to the holidays.
