Over 20 pupils in Moldova infected with COVID-19

Chisinau, 18 April /MOLDPRES/- Twenty pupils in high school were infected with COVID-19 last week. The Ministry of Education and Research announced the data today.
According to the epidemiological situation on April 15, in the educational institutions of the Republic of Moldova the number of pupils tested positive with COVID-19 was 22 people. Four teachers and two auxiliary staff were infected too.
During the same period, two cases of infection among the little ones were registered in the kindergartens in the country, and one educator tested positive for COVID-19.
There are currently 12 classes and two kindergarten groups in quarantine.
So far the vaccination rate of high school teachers is 85.15%. The highest immunization rate is in technical vocational education (87.29%), and the lowest - in preschool education (76.83%).
