SIS came up with reaction on security developments on left bank of Dniester

Chisinau, April 26 / MOLDPRES /- Intelligence and Security Service / SIS / came up today with a reaction on developments in the security situation in the Transnistrian region.
According to a statement of the institution, the SIS monitors and informs beneficiaries in real time of information, including on policy options related to the ever-changing situation. "The subjects presented to the decision-makers are classified information, on the basis of which official positions are formed and if necessary communicated to public. At the same time, the institution has intensified its efforts to gather information relevant to the prevention of actions that may affect the security climate of the Republic of Moldova, including through proactive cooperation with national institutions of law enforcement," the statement reads.
At the same time, the SIS urged people to calm down and refrain from spreading information from unverified sources, especially those that incite hatred and war.
This morning, the so-called interior ministry in Tiraspol said that at 06:40 and 07:05 two explosions took place on the territory of Maiac radio and television center in Grigoriopol region, two antennas being affected.
Yesterday, unidentified people fired grenade launchers at the headquarters of the so-called security structure in the region.
The reintegration policy bureau issued a statement expressing concern over the Tiraspol incident, saying "the aim is to create pretexts for straining the security situation in the Transnistrian region, which is not controlled by the constitutional authorities."
Ion Solonenco, senior consultant in the Office of Reintegration Policy of the State Chancellery, head of the Moldovan delegation to the JCC said that the situation in the Security Zone is calm, with no movement among peacekeepers.
