Event from agenda of Youth Capital-2022 started in Ştefan Vodă

Chisinau, April 27 / MOLDPRES /- Hackathon for Community Development Youth for Active Citizenship was launched yesterday in Ştefan Vodă, with the participation of active young people from five districts: Ştefan Vodă, Drochia, Floresti, Rezina and Soldanesti.

The event provides a program for three days.

During the teambuilding sessions the young people will learn how to identify and prioritize the problems of a community and write projects to solve them.

In their messages, representatives of the local administration encouraged young people "to remain active, because participation, civic involvement, partnership and activism alike ensure the continuity and sustainable development of a community."

The activity is organized within the Youth Activation Program 2.0 project, implemented by the Public Association International Youth Association through the Ştefan Vodă - Youth Capital 2022 Program. It is organized and funded by the Ministry of Education and Research in partnership with Ștefan Vodă City Hall, with the support of the Ștefan Vodă Volunteer Team and the Ștefan Vodă District Council.

The city of Stefan Voda was the winner of the national contest Youth Capital 2022. A number of youth activities of central and local government authorities, non-profit organizations, development partners and civil society are to be organized under the Program.
