Price of access ticket for Dendrarium Park from Moldovan capital increases

Chisinau, 27 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) today approved an increase in the price of the access ticket for the Dendrarium Park from 4 to 10 lei.

Thus, one entrance ticket for adults will cost 10 lei, while pupils and students will pay 5 lei. The monthly season ticket for adults will cost 150 lei and for pupils and students – 75 lei. The pensioners, people with disabilities and children with the age up to 7 years will benefit from free of charge access to the Park.

The park’s administration demanded an increase in the price of one entrance ticket in 2020; yet, the municipal councilors refused this, reasoning, at that time, that during pandemic, the access to the park should be ensured for all categories of citizens.

The Dendrarium Park was founded in 1973 on the place of the former Botanical Garden of Moldova’s Academy of Sciences. In the beginning the Park had an area of 73 hectares, which at present the park has an area of 77.809 hectares.
