Moldovan, Romanian officials approach cooperation

Chisinau, April 29 / MOLDPRES /- Romanian Competition Council will support Moldova in aligning national competition legislation with EU rules. Issues regarding the strengthening of cooperation between the competition authorities of the Republic of Moldova and Romania were discussed at a meeting between Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and Bogdan Chirițoiu, head of the Romanian Competition Council.
According to the government's communication and protocol department, Gavrilița appreciated the collaboration between the institutions and the support of the Romanian side in implementing the projects, aimed at improving the legal framework, applying Community legislation and gaining experience in the competition and state aid.
In this context, Chirițoiu said that the Romanian competition authority will support the efforts of the Chisinau authorities on European integration and will continue to provide our country with the necessary expertise. The exchange of good practices will be carried out in the market studies of energy, food and phytosanitary products.
