Moldovan tax body to consider applications on refund of withheld taxes in addition from 4 May

Chisinau, April 29 / MOLDPRES /- The State Tax Service (SFS) announced it will consider applications for the refund of the amount of income tax paid / withheld in addition for individual taxpayers from 4 May.

According to the institution, the amount of income tax accepted for refund can be: transferred to the bank account; returned in cash in the generally established manner; used to settle outstanding or future tax obligations.

To submit the application, taxpayers can opt for one of the following methods: in electronic format, through the online service Electronic Declaration, on paper at the territorial subdivision of SFS.

To reimburse the income tax surplus, the private people must first submit the personal income tax statement.

The SFS reminds that for 2021, the deadline for submitting the statement is 3 May.
