Romania's Ambassador pays farewell visit to Moldova's Foreign Affairs Ministry

Chisinau, 30 April /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has had a farewell meeting with Ambassador of Romania to Moldova Daniel Ionita, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission to the country, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

„Mr. Ambassador will remain a friend of our country and a promoter of Moldova’s rapprochement with the European Union, along with Romania and through strengthening the bilateral strategic partnership for European integration, aimed at modernizing our country through the development of infrastructure projects meant to complete the community of language, history and culture shared with Romania,’’ Minister Nicu Popescu said.

At the end of the meeting, the Moldovan diplomacy head thanked Ambassador Daniel Ionita for his personal significant contribution to the development and deepening of the Moldovan-Romanian relation and wished him success in the carrying out of the next activities and professional goals.
