Emergency Commission adopts new provisions on crossing state border by Ukrainian citizens

Chisinau, 4 May /MOLDPRES/- Emergency Commission (CSE) members adopted adopted at today's meeting some adjustments to the way in which Ukrainian refugees cross the state border, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, the Ukrainian citizens who have entered Moldova under an ID, including expired validity term will be able to leave the country presenting the same document.
The conditions to cross the state border will be used only once, and the border police is to inform Ukrainian citizens about the new provisions of the CSE.
At the same time, measures have been adjusted to protect children at risk and children separated from their parents who cross the state border from Ukraine. Thus, the persons responsible for taking over the minors will carry out an evaluation of each individual case based on a document, approved by order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection.
The CSE members also decided that the National Energy Regulatory Agency will not issue licenses for the supply of natural gas during the state of emergency.
