Moldovan interior ministry structures to work in increased regime on 9 May

Chisinau, May 6 / MOLDPRES /- Heads of the subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs held a press conference today and announced that on 9 May the ministry employees will work in an increased regime and will not admit the violation of the legislation.

The head of the General Inspectorate of Police, Viorel Cernăuțeanu urged all citizens to comply with the legislative framework and reiterated that in case of violations, everyone will be sanctioned, regardless of the positions they hold.

"I remind you that the police have no purpose and do not restrict access to demonstrations and rallies, we will support any peaceful action. At the same time, I want to say frankly that the police will not tolerate the people who will instigate the violation of the rules ", he said.

The heads of IGSU and the Border Police said that this weekend and on 9 May the number of employees assigned to work will increase, and several Border Police crews will be deployed at the green border.
