Former headmaster of Lucian Blaga lyceum from Tiraspol reestablished in office

Chisinau, 6 May /MOLDPRES/ - The former headmaster of the Lucian Blaga Theoretical Lyceum from Tiraspol, Ion Iovcev, has been reestablished in office, the Education and Research Ministry (MEC) has reported.      

„According to a Ruling by the Chisinau Court, Rascani headquarters, from 6 May 2022, the order on the cessation of the individual labour contract with Ion Iovcev was cancelled and an instruction was issued to reestablish him to the position of acting headmaster of the Lucian Blaga Theoretical Lyceum from Tiraspol,’’ MEC said.   

At a meeting between Education and Research Minister Anatolie Topala with Ion Iovcev, the official presented necessary apologies for the way the labour relations with the lyceum’s headmaster had been ceased.   

At the cause’s consideration in court, the Education and Research Ministry informed that, following the analysis of the order on dismissing Ion Iovcev, from the objective viewpoint, decision-makers had not presented and had not identified premises able to justify the need or opportunity of the concerned order.   

Ion Iovcev will take over the interim office starting from 16 May 2022.
