Number of members of CNPF Board of Directors to be reduced

Chisinau, May 19 / MOLDPRES /- The number of members of the Board of Directors of the National Financial Market Commission (CNPF) has been reduced from five to three. A bill to that effect was adopted today by Parliament in the second reading.

Thus, the collegiate body will be composed of a general director and two directors. Therefore, decisions will be taken by a quorum of at least two directors out of three.

According to the authors of the bill, a group of deputies of the Parliamentary Faction Action and Solidarity Party, the CNPF reform will lead to debureaucratization, simplification and efficiency in decision-making by its collegiate body.

Until the reorganization, the Board of Directors of CNPF had five members, including the president.
