Moldovan parliament appoints two advisers at National Agency for Settlement of Claims

Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today appointed Aliona Oboroceanu and Steluta Vintila as advisers for the settlement of claims at the National Agency for Settlement of Claims (ANSC).
Under the law on public procurements, the National Agency for Settlement of Claims is an autonomous public authority and independent from other public authorities, from private people and legal entities, which consider the claims formulated at public procurement procedures.
ANSC is made up of seven advisers for the settlement of claims, who have status of public officials. They are appointed by the parliament, with the vote of the majority of the MPs present at the meeting, at a proposal by the parliament’s commission for economy, budget and finances for a period of 7 years, without possibility to renew the mandate.
