Moldovan head of state, Chair European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee discuss reforms' agenda

Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today had a discussion with Chair of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee David McAllister. The subjects tackled were focused on the security situation in the region, as well as the agenda of reforms of Moldova and the government’s capacity to manage the crises faced by the country on this period, the presidential press service has reported.  

The officials also referred to the humanitarian assistance Moldova was providing to refugees from Ukraine and the country’s European path. ‘’The accession to the European Union gives our country the chance to remain part of the free world and to ensure for the citizens a peaceful and prosperous future. Therefore, we will continue our efforts of promoting the European integration,’’ President Maia Sandu said at the meeting.
