Over 8,300 applications for school enrollment of children submitted in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, May 23 / MOLDPRES /- Over 8,300 applications for the enrollment of children in the first grade were submitted in Chisinau, which is about 90% of the expected enrollment. Deputy Head of the Directorate-General for Education, Youth and Sports Andrei Pavaloi made the statement at today's operative meeting of municipal services.

According to the quoted source, "in total, about 9,300 places were expected in the public institutions in the municipality".

The enrollment of children in school for 2022-2023 takes place in two stages. The first stage will end on June 13, being the submission of applications in institutions according to the home address and the second stage, which will take place on 14 June -29 August involves filling in the remaining available places.
