CSP to propose dismissal of Alexandr Stoianoglo

Chisinau, May 23 / MOLDPRES /- Members of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) decided today by a majority of votes to rate Alexandr Stoianolgo's activity as "unsatisfactory" and will propose to the President of the Republic of Moldova his dismissal.
CSP head Angela Motuzoc said that the CSP took note of the report of the assessment commission, and gave the unsatisfactory rating to the work carried out by Alexandr Stoioanoglo. "It is proposed to release Alexandru Stoianoglo from the position of Attorney General," Motuzoc said.
Stoianoglo challenged the commission's evaluation report.
According to the latest changes in the legislation, the performance of the Attorney General is to be evaluated, and if he obtains the failed grade, the CSP will propose his dismissal.
