Chisinau, May 26 / MOLDPRES /- Over 2,500 pupils from four schools in the Republic of Moldova will be able to learn the professions of the future in digital laboratories, equipped with modern equipment. The donation is to be made in the autumn of 2022, as part of a project supported by development partners.
The equipment will be procured through the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) project Accelerating digital transformation in public sector in the Republic of Moldova, to which the Romanian government has allocated in 2021 over 80 thousand euros, through RoAid - Agency for International Cooperation for Development of Romania. The development partners that support the Tekwill in every school network are Sweden, the European Union, the US Agency for International Development, UNDP and the Government of Romania.
Digital laboratories are renovated spaces of at least 50 square meters, equipped with electronic devices and furniture necessary for interactive studies. Pupils can take IT classes or use computers to do homework or develop practical skills if they do not have an electronic device at home.
